Half Day of College
The Corona Range and Livestock Research Center hosts a Field Day every three years, the next slated for July 2008. During the two years in between we host an educational program called "Half Day of College". This program will host three one-hour concurrent educational sessions dealing with the most current topics of interest chosen by the members of our advisory committee. 2009 Half Day of College
Our 2009 Half Day of College event was well attended. We had 79 registered guests and three great presentations. As always, the beef brisket lunch, prepared by the Crown Cowbelles, was a highlight. We would like to thank the Corona FFA for all their hard work in setting up and helping out. A great big thank you to Corona Trading Company for their support as well. Our "Half Day of College" educational events are held the two years between our Research Field Days. The next "Half Day of College" will be held in 2009.
2007 Half Day of College
Our 2007 "Half Day of College" program was held July 20, 2007. We had around 50 people in attendance. The program was a very educational and well received by those in attendance with plenty of questions being entertained by our scientists. We really appreciate the Corona community for their support and assistance in making it happen. 2006 Half Day of College
Our 2006 "Half Day of College" program was held July 21, 2006. We had around 50 people in attendance. The program was a great success and we thank all of our sponsers and supporters for their help and assistance in providing a quality program to our stakeholders. This years sponsers and supporters were: Alderman-Cave Feeds, Hi-Pro Feeds, Paul's Veterinary Supply, Corona Trading Company, Corona FFA, Crown Cowbelles and Corona Public Schools.
